I rescued a journal from the wild waters of Fountain Creek, got helped out of the water by a really nice stranger named Jerry, loaned my pen out to someone who lost his pencil, and brought home a duck feather.

That was really fun playing in the river. I would like to do more activities like that again!
I didn't play in the river but I had fun talking with my friends and writing about the river too.
I had a lot of fun in the river! When I got out I couldn't feel my feet! I loved sitting in the rainfall writing about the river! I would love to do more things in class like that! What was your favorite line you wrote about the river?
