Manitou

In the season of Summer, the leaves are green,
as green as the grass we step upon with out feet. The town is colored in beautiful colors,
the colors of the rainbow, forever and ever.
In Fall, the colors of the trees are orange and pink, and the birds are flying quickly to East.
Now comes Winter, the season of snow.
And Manitou is surely, the right place to go.
The ground is covered in inches of snow,
and when the sun shines, it glitters and glows.
And then when it's Christmas, the town glows with lights. The town is covered in beauty so bright. The trees are filled with colors and lights, and the people are filled with spirit and delight. Last comes Spring, the season of beauty. The flowers are growing and spreading truly. The fields are filled with sunflowers galore, and the kids are ready for Summer to start.
No matter the season, no matter the time,
Manitou is surely, a fine place divine.

I love this! I love how you made some of the words ryme, and really express how you feel about Manitou! I also love Manitou so much! Do you think you will live in Colorado forever, or move to another state?

I love manitou too in the winter it is my favorite season in manitou. I mean I like summer too but winter is the best because like you said it glows and it is all white and yes it is cold but it is worth looking at.

I personally enjoyed the post, as it was really creative and painted a beautiful picture of the seasons in my head. Did you know that some places on Earth that aren't affected by seasonal changes at all? I know pretty crazy right, but this reminded me of the black ice in Missouri which was terrible! One last thing, I haven't been in Colorado long and I was wandering what the weather is like, for instance how about winter? I hear snow can get really bad but I'm not sure. So I'd love to hear your response!
