So, I'm a real "brave one", yeah know? I won't go on any water ride that I would think is "scary", so I couldn't go on most the rides because of my fears. But my friend showed me a new water slide at the park and she said, "Oh there's no drops or falling off on this ride!'' I trusted her for some odd reason even thought the ride was brand new. So we are in the line, it’s really high up but I trusted her she was my friend [and I was 8].
So we eventually get in the double tube and I'm calm, and then they pushed us in to the water slide. It was good for a minute until I saw a DROP! I immediately start trying to paddled back to the beginning of the slide, but there was no use. And I screamed " GET ME OUT OF THIS SLI--!" It dropped down.
I was bawling my eyes out and my friend was laughing so much, and then... the ride came to a stop. I quickly jumped from the tube and screamed, "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!!" I said it in a cry of anger and frustration and ran to my mom and we left the joint.
I now hate slides and hate that "friend.''

This was such a fun and eventful story! I really enjoyed it! I'm totally the same way with any sort of height thing. I get super scared, but in the end I actually end up doing it. thank you for this wonderful post!
