War 3

We heard a loud banging, but then realized it was hailing, because it had said it on the news earlier that day. When we left the bar we went to my car since I only had one beer, but my buddies had like fifteen beers altogether. When we got back to base camp we realized it had been raided while we were away. There is just one thing they didn't take: the power source we snagged from that tank wreckage.

We still don't know what it is. We were so close but they took our... well. I don't know what they are exactly, but they are used for studying unknown isotopes. Now we may never know, unless we get them back somehow. I know what you are all thinking, is this guy crazy? Look it's the only way that we would be able to get them back, but in a different way than you are thinking. We will have to jump on an enemy patrol, we are small enough we shouldn't get detected by scanners. Later that night, we were lucky enough to hop on a patrol and not get caught.

We were soon in the enemy base. No one saw us. I was right, the sensors picked up nothing. Yet something felt off when we entered the base, but it didn't matter. We had to get to the science lab. The only guards for the science lab were at the door, so we continued. My partner found a trip wire, glad we didn't... and here are the alarms *warning, warning unauthorized personnel in the air ducts*, why do my partners always have to be stupid? They captured us and put us in some sort of dungeon, this was the bad part.

They drugged us, so we didn't have our gear or our comm links, but they didn't get my lock pick. Since this cellar ( or whatever this place is) has a giant wooden door, which if you ask me is over kill, I might be able to pick the lock. One problem, our hands were tied so um... we're dead. Wait, this rope looks very old, with enough force it should break. I give it all of my strength, but no change. I ask my partner to try and his rope snaps right off. We both try to break mine and it snapped so hard I thought my arm broke.

We went to the door and I tried to pick the lock, but the door needed thumb print recognition. That's when I remembered I had some kind of powder in my pocket, my partner had pore strips for some reason. He put the pore strips on after I had put the powder on, and bam, door opens, I'm a genius, don't mean to brag but like I said, I'm a genius.

One thing we overlooked was that we were in a Nazi base... crud. I said without thinking, " Cheese and crackers", as soon as it left my mouth one hundred armed guards sprinted towards  us. We thought we were dead, but then the scientists that drugged us said it was all a test and said we were ready to join the Nazis. Naturally I said no, but my partner said yes. The only reason he said yes and I said no was because, I had a plan. And that was, well, why spoil the fun when you could read about it in the next short story?
