My Favorite Quote
Everyone wants Happiness,
no one wants Pain,
but you can't have a Rainbow,
without a little Rain.

Death
What is death like?
Is it total blackness and nothing is there except you? Are you just a spirit that can walk around and not get hurt at all or get sick you can’t even feel pain? Personally I would like that life instead of this life where you could get hurt and get sick and die. Then there is reincarnation where when you die you get reborn in another body and you don’t remember anything of your past life, which to me is a little too far fetched. Now I need to wait until I die which will be a long time.
I hope.

I am back with a flash fiction.
Hello it has been a while but I am back from the dead. Here is one of my writings.

By Mark Mayers
A man stands where his children once stood before they were shot. Time goes by fast and people just stare at him while days go by. He wishes that he was more mentally stable than what he is. He says to himself why me out of all things, why this? With a tear coming down his eye. As a police car drifts to where he is,he activates the mine he set there. Instead of jumping behind a dumpster, to get less of the impact he just takes that opportunity to free himself of reason, and let’s the explosion engulf him.

Fortunately or Unfortunately?
DID THIS WITH A FRIEND!
Fortunately, I invented a machine that can turn someone or something invisible in an instant.
Unfortunately, it broke down while a male test subject was in the machine, and he died.
Fortunately, we moved on to another (very frightened ) female test subject, and the machine worked perfectly!
Unfortunately, the female test subject quit because she was very frightened that she would die, too.
Fortunately, they found another test subject that was far more brave, but male.
Unfortunately, they also wanted to test females, but they were all acting like babies that have their diapers full of doo doo.
Fortunately, Linda manned up and offered to be the test subject, even though her diaper was full.
Unfortunately, Linda was just being Linda, and she microwaved a frozen Capri-Sun, and it blew up the microwave, and the whole kitchen (it probably will cost a few bucks).
Fortunately, Linda had a few bucks/trillions. (If your wondering why, she's a trillionare)
Unfortunately, when she went to go withdraw some cash, there was nothing in her account because she realized she spent all the money on this gnarly golden toilet, with sweet diamond bedazzles.
Fortunately, she had that sweet toilet so her life was set.
Unfortunately, someone from the lab stole her sweet toilet because he was mad that she blew up the kitchen, and so she has no money left.
Fortunately, she submitted a ticket to the lottery, and won the powerball!
Unfortunately, Linda was cheering that she won the lottery, but she was not paying attention, and she was skipping and twirling in the road.
And got hit by a car.

DID WITH A FRIEND! I did fortunately, and my friend did unfortunately.
Fortunately, I just landed on the moon!(Yes I am a child, and yes I'm an astronaut.)
Fortunately, I just landed on the moon!(Yes I am a child, and yes I'm an astronaut.)
Unfortunately, it wasn't as interesting as I expected.
Fortunately, when I got back on earth, I got an ice cream cone with five scoops of ice cream.
Unfortunately, (because my brother got the ice cream, and he doesn't know my favorite flavors) I only liked one of the flavors, so I had to eat around the other scoops.
Fortunately, my brother felt really bad because he got the wrong flavors, so he took me to Mexico for a week.
Unfortunately, I have never been on a plane before (so I didn't know what to expect with the altitude and all) , I turned into an alien out of nowhere!Fortunately, now I can brag to all my human friends back at home that I am an alien.
Unfortunately, they will probably be scared of me and run away like little babies screaming for help like their diapers are full of doo doo.
Fortunately, when we landed in Mexico, and got out of the airport, I ran into the tropical world of trees and found a family of aliens.
Unfortunately, the aliens were savages and ripped off my diaper to reveal my inner alien.
Fortunately, it was not awkward to be naked because it's normal for aliens to have no clothes.
Unfortunately, when he gets home, his human friends would be even more scared because they are not used to aliens, let alone aliens without clothes!
Fortunately, the aliens just weren't used to an alien having clothes on, and are perfectly average aliens so they became friends.
Unfortunately, my alien powers ran out of juice and I turned back into a human! The aliens lied about not being savages and used their instincts.
And ate me!!!

So, what am I doing? PEC live
As of this moment I am writing, but recently I visited one of my dear friends, Paul Fleischmann, “at his current place of residence.” He is a very strange middle school writer. He showed me his most recent writing and it included a fisherman, and his man eating fish. Very strange. Anyway, now I think I will write about some more recent events. I ate lunch. That’s it, tune in next time for more strange information on PEC live...

Watson Geisz
Long time ago lived a boy named Watson Geisz. He wasn’t a regular boy, he had abilities that nobody had. He could jump high, run fast, swim fast, and was insanely smart. He was so smart he could use 100 percent of his brain. For example, he could move his school bleachers. If it gets too hard for him to move an object or thing, his nose would bleed. But he put his ability to good use, like stopping villains from stealing or other bad crimes.

Dream
He felt his eyes slowly start to close as he drifted into sleep. His eyes then awoke once again, but he was not at home. He was debating whether this was going to be a good or bad dream.
He was just about to pinch his arm to wake himself up, but he stopped midway. He remembered what his parents and the whole community had said. They said that dreams were dangerous. That they were an evil thing that should never be experienced.
They said that even a good dream can turn into a nightmare. They said that whenever you start to have a dream to pinch yourself or jump off a cliff, since you can not die in a dream.
He has been doing that for the past 13 years. It's just that this time, something was stopping him. He found himself walking into the cold fog.
blue blues ( ͡° Ê–̯ ͡°)
I don’t get it! Why does everyone love blue so much. It’s like the color has cast a spell to make everyone love it. I mean its a nice color in all, but it’s everywhere! To people’s jackets to dogs named after it! It’s so favorited! But I have a comeback...
Blue is named after Blues, so HA blue I hate you! People say it calms them down and helps with anxiety, but I don’t think so!
WARNING! This is a parody (I love blue!)

I know people will call me out for this but, why does everyone have a blue composition notebook? Or a binder or a lunch pail! Jeez people, learn to love ya other colors my friends. There’s plenty of Them. Even though you’re still a fine color.

Guðmundur #5
Guðmundur is my oldest brother, the only sibling that's older than me. He is two years older than me and he was adopted. He came from Chad, Africa, and is (eins og BandarÃkjamenn segja það) an edgy teen. A 15-year-old boy that hates talking to people. The only time I see him is when he's getting food or we're flying together. That's not so bad though, when we were kids, he would pick on me and steal my things. Lately, I've been hearing someone go out in the middle of the night in my amerÃskt hús. I only hear it when Guðmundur is there with me. He's always so klárast in the morning and smells like ódýr ilmvatn. I just hope that he's safe at night.

To run in the wild...
...to wander freedom...

...to wander freedom...
...freedom wander you
we left England, to be free, to roam,
but instead we let our freedom wander alone
Revised Flash Fiction
At the age of 11, me and my entire family lived in a mansion. My father owns a multi billion dollar company, so every once in a while some one tries to steal from us.
That’s the reason why my father has been paying for guards to protect the estate. But unfortunately for me and my family today was different. Very different. Today we don’t really know who sent them, but about 15 men showed up at the estate. We had the idea that the people who hired them was the rival business of my dad’s business.
They came up to the house, blew off the doors, I ran to the safe room with my teddy bear. My brother came with. My father and mother were on thier way but they got shot. Their were cameras watching the people through the house. My mother survived the shot, fell around the corner. Six of them came around the corner. One shot off her head the rest shot her in the body. My brother ran out. I begged him to stay, but he said he was ok and pulled out something that looked like a .22 pistol. He ran out and shot three of them. I followed my brother out though.
I ran into four of them. Once I heard gun shots I ran the other way. As I was running, they chose to shoot me cause they just wanted to be done with it. There were about two seconds of pain and then it was all gone... my memory, the pain, every thing.

Le Fisherdude
I once was in acquaintance with a fisherdude
Who captured and imprisoned a large amount of aquatic creatures
But one fine Tuesday afternoon,
I travelled over to his current place of residence
I saw no trace of my dear acquaintance
But his largest aquatic creature was in his current place of residence
I wonder what it feels like,
Being consumed by a large aquatic creature in your current place of residence
If I were consumed by a large aquatic creature in my current place of residence,
I would escape from inside of the large aquatic creature using the neurons in my
homo sapiens sapiens brain
When I escaped from the large aquatic creature using the neurons in my
homo sapiens sapiens brain,
I would then proceed to evacuate the proximity of my current place of residence
After evacuating the proximity of current place of residence,
I would continue to search for an unused residence to reside in
After I have found an unused residence to reside in,
I will be content with my living in the current time of my living
But I am still in the fisherdude’s house.

My everlasting life
I am a leaf
worn down to the last of my life.
Holes
all over my body
that someone, if anyone,
could see a small glimpse of what is left of the world through.
They could see the gas coming off the trees,
almost as if they were
burning.
The smokey air roams
like a wild horse.
Leaving tracks that cover every inch of the land
as far as I can see.
The exhaust
ages me even more than I can bare.
I think about it.
About falling off.
But my time here
is
everlasting.

Racking Leaves!!
Luvan Lake Diaries~Introduction
July 15th, 3010
It's the year 3010, a new species has been found, the Luvan Bird. Belonging to the newly found, well, found about 12 years ago, Luvan Lake in Santa Cruz County, California. (P.S. To all those ghosts reading this right now, no, there are not robots, well kinda, but they aren’t taking over the world. Sorry.)
Anywho, there has been a lot of talk about this lake. People are saying it's haunted and dangerous and all that. People still go on it though, as well as I, and I've never seen anything suspicious. I've swum in it, I've been boating on it. Have I seen the Loch Ness monster? Have I seen any dead people? No, never. And I'm not planning on it any time soon.
Oh yea, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Scarlett. I am 16 years old and go to Luvan Lake High, another new thing built only one year after the Lake was founded. So that makes it only about 11 years old. My Dad got me this diary because he thought I would enjoy writing in it. I know this is going to sound nerdy, but I actually kind of like it!
Anyway, this lake has been the new talk around not only California, but like, the whole United States ever since is was founded! And do you know what that means? Traffic! Lots and lots of traffic! People from all over the country are coming to see this lake! This lake! Why not go to Lake Powell in Utah or something instead of here? Yes, I know that lake was made more than 2,000 years ago, but still! Ugh, ok, changing the subject, well kind of.
I guess our town is like one of the most mysterious places in the world, and when people don't come for the lake, they usually come for the famous Mystery Spot. Me and my Dad go to the Mystery Spot every summer, it's pretty fun actually! It's basically like this one big spot that consists of no gravity so you can just float around in there, plus, it's really cheap to get in, only like $6.00 for adults, $5.00 for parking, and it's free for children three years or younger and active duty military personnel. Haha, yes, I memorized all of that, by the way.
Oh yea, did I mention it's 12:00 at night right now? Guess I better get to bed. Night!

Swinging
She came across the abandoned swing set, in the play park of an old school. She felt drawn to it, so she sat down on the old wooden seat.
She started to sway back and forth, repeatedly.
As she gently glided through the air, she heard the rhythmic pattern of the chains creaking.
She got lost in the sound.
She kept swinging and swinging.
Time passed.
She enjoyed the feel of freedom.
But she enjoyed it so much she couldn’t stop.
She became weak and tired.
Jokes
I've been telling some jokes and they are pretty funny. Comment the answers down below. Some I made up and some I’ve heard from places.
Why can't frogs have cars?
How do you cut the sea in half?
Why did the dinosaur cross the road?
What do you call a pig that does karate?
What do you call a t-Rex that got in a car accident?
How does a squid go into battle?
Why can’t they play poker in the jungle?

Autumn Alley
As I stand in autumn alley
Tears plunge into the making of an endless stream
Hoping to fill an empty valley
As I stand there hoping....
Grieving
Hoping that my grief won't dwindle
Though I know the more I hope and grieve the further I plummet....
... into a fictional dream💤
Flash Fiction Story
As a mother, I always want the best for my kids. But right now, I'm sure not really sure what to think. My oldest child, Vanessa, is quite the inventor. I am always amazed on what she creates, but now I'm kind of nervous. This invention was outside.
But it really wasn't an invention, more of an idea.
She built this swing that hung on our Oak tree. The only things that made me nervous about this is how high it was and that she might accidentally kick someone. The swing was probably about eight feet high. I was worried about her accidentally kicking her little brother, Jack. Jack was was four years old. Almost five.
Jack kept walking closer and closer and...

Remember
Cemetery Appreciation
I am sitting in a cemetery appreciating the people that have come before us.
Straight ahead I see a heart-shaped grave stone that reads HELEN L MASIAS beloved wife mother & Grandmother. I notice she lived quite a long time. April 16, 1930–April 20, 2014.
I am lying on a bench someone had made for her. It has a quote etched on the top of it that says, "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls."
-Helen Lujan Masias
I find this quote very interesting to think about. I have so many questions. What do we need to learn from her? By reading this quote and taking her thoughts to consideration will we really have rest in our souls?
I also notice some of the grave stones have flowers, trinkets, all kinds of random, yet meaningful objects. But some don't have one thing placed by its side.
All I can think about is setting something on every single grave stone to show gratitude.

Sitting in a Cemetery
Sitting in a cemetery, alone, listening to the howls of the wind. Listening to the whispers of those whom I once loved. A strong wind blows my hair with the leaves. I look at my view from the top of this hill.
When you think of death, you usually think of it as something normal that happens every day. But when you're at a cemetery, a whole different vibe flows through your body and leaves you speechless. You realize what a sad, yet horrifying thing death really is. You are sitting in an area of those who were loved and honored. An area of coffins, dead bodies, buried all around you.
I haven't lost very many yet, but just the thought of what a persons friends and family would have to have gone through left me sad and scared. Scared that I will have to go through the same thing those friends and family went through. But there is always a bright side to these types of things, too.
You have to remember that that person is in a better place. Not only that, but they aren't in pain anymore. A smile came to my face thinking about that. If you lost someone you loved, just remember to think positive about it.
I am quite sure a smile will come to face, too.

End or Endless
I don't want this to end. I want it to go on for an everlasting number of miles. I want it to never come to a boundary, but to go beyond.
The moon in the painted sky reflects onto it like an antique mirror. Not perfect. Distressed into a glisten.
Imagining this person walking on this unbreakable..... sea. It's a sea. Now I imagine something. Something different.

War
Have you ever been in a situation where you feel like you might die? Well then tell me, were you in a war, because that's where I am buddy. I'm stuck behind the front lines and the German Air Force. The year was 1941. I was running for my life, when suddenly, a shell impacted right next to me. I thought I was done for, but when I woke up I was in a Nazi prison camp.
They forced me to share classified information, but I would not break. Five days later, I heard a large explosion, then I realized the camp was being attacked. It was our boys rescuing me. I was relieved, yet terrified because all of these bombs were going off at once. The wall next to me shattered. I was terrified!
Yet I miraculously made it across a war drawn field, and on to a plane that shortly took off. About ten minutes later we were shot down by AA (Anti-Aircraft) cannons. Luckily we parachuted into a friendly air base. We got restocked with ammunition, food, water, and weapons. Faster than time should have went by, we were on a deploymendent plane about ready to jump out.
When we jumped out, there was a sudden rush of air, as if we were standing in front of a giant fan. Before we knew it we had touched down. Sounds of warfare all around us, anti-aircraft guns were firing. Pistols and rifles were right in front of us, with Nazi soldiers behind the barrel! It had almost felt like they were targeting me, because ten of them dashed towards me, so I did the only thing I thought of, I fought half of them off, then called in a gun run from our boys in the air.
Once they were taken care of, I ran to the other side of the city. Somehow I survived considering there was a massive amount of soldiers. When I got in the mayor's house, I found myself being attacked by a few soldiers, and they ordered me to surrender. I did because I had no cover, and I was clearly out gunned. I was put in a room with the mayor, and I was stuck there. I thought to myself if I would ever get out.

Cemetary Manitou
↩Cemetery Manitou↪
As a buck stared into my eyes in the distance, I saw gravestones. Some with and without wind chimes as I hear the wind making them chime, the beautiful music playing as I also hear the wind rasping through the dead and alive trees.
I was watching the leaves fall off the trees, and as I look around, I see gravestones with flowers, flags, quotes, and the day they were born and died.
I hear so much that I forget what time it is, because I don’t have my phone or my watch. And
forget what I was writing about because there are so many things that are cool like some of the gravestones had pictures or kids who were my age and died a while ago.
I also hear the footsteps of both bucks, does, and people walking in the old fall leaves that have fallen, with the crunch under them.
And when I walk around to look at the gravestones, I wonder if any of my family knew any of these people, or if I know any of them. I also think, How did these people die? Did they die of age, war, health reasons, someone committing suicide?
Many things were going on in my mind that I couldn’t even focus on one subject. I see colors and names of all sorts, the sky was blue, and I saw fake red roses too. Suddenly I see three bucks, 4 does, 1 calf, and I got their attention by making deer sounds, and they all stared me in the eye. I think they were trying to talk to me, but I barely even knew what they were saying.
Oh yeah, the name of the cemetery, “Crystal Valley Cemetary.”

Book Fair
Has anybody gone to the book fair? If you haven't, I really recommend going. It has so many different kinds of books! Also, it has a lot of things that aren't books. For example, they have erasers. I really like the erasers because they are little animal shapes and some are shaped like dollars and coins. They also have little questionnaire books that you can fill out with your friends. Another thing I thought was cool are these little phone-shaped tins that have a little notepad, a sheet of stickers, and a little stamp pad inside of them. It's really cool to see all of the different genres of books. They have genres from horror to humor. I actually went to the book fair and I was absolutely amazed! Anyway, I suggest that you go to book fair before it closes!
Rest.
The quiet and serenity
Is so peaceful,
As the wind chimes
Cling soothingly
Off in the distance.
You watch as deer
Graze solemnly,
And as you hear
a wicked eagles scornful crow,
You think to yourself...
This might not be such a bad final resting place.
