They forced me to share classified information, but I would not break. Five days later, I heard a large explosion, then I realized the camp was being attacked. It was our boys rescuing me. I was relieved, yet terrified because all of these bombs were going off at once. The wall next to me shattered. I was terrified!
Yet I miraculously made it across a war drawn field, and on to a plane that shortly took off. About ten minutes later we were shot down by AA (Anti-Aircraft) cannons. Luckily we parachuted into a friendly air base. We got restocked with ammunition, food, water, and weapons. Faster than time should have went by, we were on a deploymendent plane about ready to jump out.
When we jumped out, there was a sudden rush of air, as if we were standing in front of a giant fan. Before we knew it we had touched down. Sounds of warfare all around us, anti-aircraft guns were firing. Pistols and rifles were right in front of us, with Nazi soldiers behind the barrel! It had almost felt like they were targeting me, because ten of them dashed towards me, so I did the only thing I thought of, I fought half of them off, then called in a gun run from our boys in the air.
Once they were taken care of, I ran to the other side of the city. Somehow I survived considering there was a massive amount of soldiers. When I got in the mayor's house, I found myself being attacked by a few soldiers, and they ordered me to surrender. I did because I had no cover, and I was clearly out gunned. I was put in a room with the mayor, and I was stuck there. I thought to myself if I would ever get out.
Find out if our Hero makes it in the second issue
